Hello

Welcome to my page! I’m Stephen Schrack—please call me Steve. I’m a dedicated educator, coach, and lifelong learner with a passion for inspiring the next generation. Currently, I teach Social Studies at Pennsbury High School, specializing in U.S. Government, Economics, and World History. My journey into education comes after a successful 30-year career in business leadership, and I’m excited to share my experiences, insights, and resources with you.

My Story

I spent the first 30 years of my career in business leadership, serving as a senior executive across various industries, including retail, banking, and wellness. My passion for leadership and mentorship extended beyond the boardroom, as I’ve dedicated over 35 years to coaching youth sports. It was through these experiences that I discovered my true calling—teaching.

In the summer of 2023, I made a significant career transition into education. Since then, I have been proud to serve as a Math and Social Studies student teacher at Pennsbury High School, where I bring my diverse leadership experience into the classroom. My teaching focuses on real-world applications, integrating interactive technology to engage students and enhance their critical thinking skills. â€‹In addition to my teaching role, I am the Head Coach for the Freshman Soccer team at George School and also coach Winter and Spring Track. Coaching allows me to combine my love for mentorship with my passion for sports, fostering teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in young athletes.

As I continue my journey as an educator, I am pursuing my second Master’s degree in Secondary Education at Albright College, with plans to graduate in May 2025 and receive my teaching certificate in December 2024. My background in business leadership, coupled with my growing expertise in social studies, business, and mathematics, equips me to make a lasting impact in the lives of my students.

I believe that a great teacher embodies patience, understanding, strong communication, and effective classroom management. I am committed to continuous improvement, always seeking ways to adapt and evolve my teaching practices to meet the needs of my students.
